Dear players!

Our task is to make this season of the League an important event for our project and players. That’s why we have carefully examined your feedback and endeavour to improve things you like and fix things that disappoint you. We have prepared some news about changes that will be implemented now.

Group Stage Results

Thousands of players watched 45 matches and here are the interim results:

Team Dislike has taken 1st place. They won 8 matches and lost only 1 to Der Adler. An Interesting fact is that Der Adler barely managed to reach the play-off stage qualifying in 8th place.
2nd and 3rd place were taken by Polish team DYNAMIGHT and the winners of Thunder Cup I — Verve.
European team THINK is the last tournament participant with a positive battle balance (6 victories, 3 defeats) and have taken 4th place.
5th to 8th standings go to the following: Arcade eSports, GOF, Poltergeist and Der Adler.
American team CUBE and Akai Victory have placed 9th and 10th respectively and have not made into the play-off round.

Don't forget! On January the 23rd the decisive matches of the first season will begin. Find the Playoff Table here!

If you haven’t chosen a favourite team yet, you only have a few days left. On January the 23rd the opportunity to choose a team will be locked. After the beginning of the play-off, only owners of the Golden “Dog Tag” will have an opportunity to change their mind and select another team, from from January 27th 07:00 GMT to January 29th 07:00 GMT.

Thunder League - Changes & Developments

E-100 Tournaments

300 players have already received this unique tank. After checking players’ feedback and analyzing the passed tournaments, we decided to make the following changes:

In the next “E-100” tournament the squad option will be disabled.
The US rocket tank, the “Calliope” will be removed from the line-up.
This February we will run an additional tournament in Arcade mode exclusively for PS4 players where E-100 will be given.

Besides this we are considering a possibility that the remaining “E-100” tournaments will be run in Deathmatch mode - free for all. This format prevents any disadvantages of solo gaming. The final decision will be taken after gathering feedback and testing the “Deathmatch” mode.

Tank & Air Deathmatch Tournaments

Shortly, we will announce a play test for tank & air Deathmatch tournaments:

All players will appear on the battlefield simultaneously (10 for tank battles, 5 for aircraft)
The last surviving player will win
We will test battles with and without respawns.
The players will be able to win unique titles and valuable prizes.

“Deathmatch” tournaments will be only available for “Dog Tag” owners.

Stream Giveaways

After analyzing the feedback we decided to make the following changes in giveaway mechanics:

The RBT-5, Bf.109E-7 and T-V will be only available to “Dog Tag” owners.
Boxes for “Dog Tag” owners will also contain decals with the teams’ logos.

Thunder League Divisions

In the nearest future we will announce the launch of the Thunder League junior divisions.

Each team will be able to join qualifying matches for Squadron Battles.
The best teams will take part in the Semi Pro Division qualifying and main stages.
The winners will play in the play-offs in order to join the professional division.
