Today, we’re showcasing several new Multi-Function Display screens for aircraft, as well as improvements to Helmet-Mounted Displays, coming in the next War Thunder update!
New Multi-Function Displays (MFD)
In the next major update, we’ll be adding new screens for aircraft Multi-function displays. Specifically, the Ka-52 will receive several new MFDs screens, including a compass page, a flight instruments page, a weapons screen and a radar page. Radar pages will also be added to the cockpits of the MiG-21 series, the entire F-104 family, the Japanese T-2 and F-1, the Mirage F1 family, and others. We’ll publish the full list as soon as the update releases!
New Helmet Mounted Displays (HMD)
Alongside new MFDs, we’ll also be adding new Helmet-Mounted Displays, plus improving existing ones! For instance, the RAH-66 is going to get its own Kaiser HMD, the Chinese JH-7A2 and J-11 will get HMDs, and American pilots will get an upgraded VTAS system featuring target lock and radar warning indicators around the aiming circle.
