Take part in the “Dreams come true” event to get special decals, decorations, a special loading screen and the unique 38 cm Sturmmörser SPG!
The 38 cm Sturmmörser self-propelled gun, better known as the Sturmtiger, is a German SPG built on the chassis of the Tiger heavy tank. This vehicle was designed for urban battles: its 380mm rocket mortar is capable of destroying buildings and fortifications. The Sturmtiger can swipe almost any vehicle on the battlefield, but be aware of its long reload time and tricky ballistics!!
You’re now able to get all 10 unique Premium vehicles from the past War Thunder birthdays! Play multiplayer battles, open stages, and collect them all!

- Each stage allows you to get one of the above listed vehicles. if you don’t own it yet.
- If a stage is achieved and you own all listed vehicles, you get 3 days Premium instead.
- Each stage opens for a certain score of the mission points:
- 1 stage — 5,000 points
- 2 stage — 25,000 points
- 3 stage — 50,000 points
- 4 stage — 100,000 points
- 5 stage — 200,000 points
- 6 stage — 300,000 points
- 7 stage — 400,000 points
- 8 stage — 600,000 points
- 9 stage — 800,000 points
- 10 stage — 1,000,000 points
- You can score the mission points in the following game modes:
- Ground vehicles Arcade, Realistic, or Simulator battles.
- Aircraft Arcade, Realistic, or Simulator battles.
- Naval Arcade or Realistic battles
- You may score points on any vehicle of rank III or above, as well as any prize vehicles of any rank from War Thunder special events. Check the vehicle info card to learn from what special event it was first introduced to the game.
- Points multiplier depends on the gaming mode and the maximum BR of your vehicle setup, and is listed in the mission’s description.
- Track your progress through stages by clicking your nickname, Achievements→ War Thunder Anniversary → 10 rare vehicles.
- The vehicles get to the account immediately after achieving a stage.

- To start researching the Maus, you have to have rank V of the German ground forces open.

This game is doing well, and I have had a great time playing it for 8 years, 5 years of daily logging, 1,444 aircraft, tanks and ships for the highest ranks in all 10 nations, dozens of premium machines gained in events, 5 built squadrons of Stara Gvardia, almost 1500 players gathered on The Old Guard Discord server and I still have fun with this game :) Comment, share your own experience, join ...

I swear every time WT promotes something you cannot believe it until you see it. Of course you don't get to chose the previous anniversary vehicle you actually want... you get a random one; so you can turn this entire event in a grind-fest. Same with the Sturmitiger. It really must be outright impossible for you people to do one nice thing! Anyhow, here's for 10 more years of this amazing game, hopefully under different management... O7
Wow, 10 years. So finally time to remove ULQ, balanced matchmaking, giving fire suppression and repair kit stock and replacing them with, oh I don't know, "improved" versions of the stock ones, fix sound issues, remove broken visibility gimmick, excessive damage to planes after HE buff, realistic over pressure damage, disable tracking for console players when they have mouse and keyboard connected, maybe add an option to ignore night battles, and so on. Here's to another 10 years in beta

10 Years. I don't really post comments but I felt like this is appropriate this time. Boy what an adventure that was, I wanted to thank you for putting in the work and supporting this game throughout the years. It's brought me a lot of pleasure playing it and I stuck through its ups and downs, just like life. It is probably my favourite game and I have so many good memories of it. Thank you Gaijin and happy birthday! Look forward to the future.
