The landing in Normandy opened the Western front in Europe and brought the anti-Hitler coalition significantly closer to Victory in World War II.

76mm Shermans were not used in the Normandy landings, they only came out later.
Can you pls remove the helipad AAA from the events? They are super annoying.

Definitely need more EC events, and balanced around the game actual balance, not historical occasions. The RB EC last year when Spitfires LF IX and Tempests fought 109 K4 and 190 D9 was the best, imho.
Can the Helicopter landing pads be removed from the Normandy map please? They fire AAA at planes and there were no helicopters in the battle of Normandy AFAIK. Oh and whoever is responsible for the maps in Sim keeps making mistakes. The same ones again and again. Bumpy runways. Helipads where they shouldn't be. AAA guns in the middle of runways. The same mistakes over and over again.

Awesome, AWESOME event. Even though I agree with many here that RB EC would have been EVEN BETTER and perhaps naval event across La Manche would be nice too for captains, I have to say I had great fun during the weekend. Tried Simulator Battles event in tanks and it was simply awesome. Even decided to buy the -50 % package, was missing 2 from it :). My only important feedback would be - PLEASE pretty please can we have an event like this with no random vehicles at least every other weekend?! ;-)
