40 New User-Created Camouflages in the Spearhead Trophy!

This week we released the Spearhead major update, meaning it’s time for a new camouflage trophy featuring camouflages from WT Live! Of the 40 new camouflage we’ve included, 12 are for new vehicles from the update or from recent events, and following our usual tradition, five are popular camouflages from older trophies. Overall, this trophy features more camouflages for mid and high ranking vehicles, with ground vehicles being the most prevalent, and France and China being more widely represented than usual among nations. In addition to camouflages, you can also earn a unique decal and rare vehicles, all in the form of coupons!

Get the R400 in the Fast and Dangerous Event!

Speed and firepower are key characteristics of many vehicles in War Thunder. The experimental R400 light tank, created in Germany in 1986, is a great example of such a vehicle. Get it, along with themed German decals and a decoration in the new Fast and Dangerous ground event!

Bundeswehr Day is celebrated on November 12th! It was on this day 70 years ago that the first soldiers officially entered service in the new armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1990, the Bundeswehr merged with the army of the GDR, and in 2011, it abolished conscription, switching to contract service. Currently, the Bundeswehr is undergoing a large-scale modernization, with 100 billion euros allocated to its development.

A Decal for the Norwegian Air Force Foundation Day!

Aviation became part of the Norwegian army in 1912, and in 1916 aircraft were used in the navy. On November 10th 1944, during King Haakon VII’s exile, a decree was signed uniting the various air units into the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

Andrei Nikolayevich Tupolev, the father of Soviet aircraft building, was born on November 10th 1888. He built his first glider back in 1910, and from the 1920s onward was involved in designing aircraft, both passenger and military. Tupolev trained several generations of aircraft designers. His design bureau continues to create aircraft to this day, and the Kazan Aviation Institute and Moscow’s Vnukovo airport are named after him.

The He 219 A-7 Returns for the Anniversary of its First Flight!

The first flight of the Heinkel He 219 prototype took place on November 6th 1942, at the Rostock-Marienehe factory airfield. The He 219 was the first combat aircraft to be equipped with ejection seats. Many modifications of the aircraft were produced, the last one being the He 219 A-7 in late 1944.
