On July 1st, 1954 the Japan Self-Defense Forces were founded — the new armed forces that were to replace the Imperial Army and Navy that lost in WWII. Today the JSDF employs almost 250 thousand people, and, besides defending Japan, they often participate in peacekeeping and rescue operations around the world.

J2M4 Kai, IJN Kiyoshimo, and Type 74 (G) for Golden Eagles

To commemorate the anniversary of the Japan Self-Defense Forces, from June 30th (11:00 GMT) until July 4th (9:00 GMT) three different Japanese vehicles — an aircraft, a ship, and a tank — will return for sale for Golden Eagles. Pick whichever you like!

J2M4 Kai Raiden is one of the most agile Japanese fighters of World War II era, with great climbing speed and strong armament, perfect for Boom and Zoom attacks. Fast, maneuverable and quite sturdy destroyer IJN Kiyoshimo is equipped with deadly torpedoes and 127 mm main calibre guns with great ballistics that reload really quickly and often make it the victor of naval duels. Finally, the Type 74 (G) is the final and most advanced modification of the main battle tank of the JSDF; it is outfitted with a thermal imager and a powerful laser rangefinder, and its APFSDS shells are one of the best on its rank!
