In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Contact!
Let’s start with the great news! In the update “Direct Hit”, the display of contacts in the air was changed, but we found a few problems with it and received feedback from players - primarily from VR users - aircraft were more difficult to detect in the sky and control their position. In a recent update we improved the visibility of aerial contacts and their display distance. Including on the surface background.
Let’s not go into a long description. It is better to see it for yourself!
Fixing the underfilling
This error was caused by the discrepancy between the real amount of fuel and the selected amount for your aircraft.
We have found the initial problem and fixed it. Your fuel selection is now working correctly.
Notifying you about differences in BR
If you were a squad leader at least once, you know how difficult it is to keep track of the vehicles of every squad member.
We added a warning message for the squad leader if the BR of the squad’s vehicles is greater than the BR of the squad leader. In addition, we have improved the display of the current BR - in the queue window the BR score is now more noticeable and slightly bigger.
Corrected the helicopter ballistic calculator
It might break if you changed helicopter and literally saved the settings of the previous vehicle that you left or lost in battle. This caused a whole bunch of problems: missile and shell failures and an almost complete inability of the vehicle to participate in a high-tech modern battle.
But we have fixed the problem quickly, and now this "smart system" performs its task as neatly as possible.
Returned the snow to vehicle decorations
Winter is coming! We need to be ready for this. Let’s start with a small problem which caused some new well recognised decorations to be unevenly covered with snow in battles on winter maps.
Fixed the bug! As a bonus - it will be even more difficult to spot you!
Free the screen
Modern combat equipment has numerous systems that are sometimes duplicated in different areas of the interface. For example, data from the radar appeared at the bottom left corner, as well as at the top of the screen as an azimuth scale.
We’ve analyzed your preferences and decided to remove the scale to make observance of combat easier and clearer for you.
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

Man if you already bring up snow maps, might as well bring back volokolamsk,I feel like we lack snow maps,Frozen Pass and Finland are the only I never played, and volokolamsk before it dissappeared, please bring it back :(
Superb! These It's Fixed articles always put a smile on my face. Love 'em!
I don't like that the azimuth scale was removed from the UI, though. Please at least give players the option to enable/disable it, Gaijin.
Any plan to fix the ailerons and spoilers on the F-4C and other phantoms it's been reported multiple times since 2019
Why you need more than 3 years for fixing that char b1 driver problem? so slow
Still there is no fixes for overpressure? meh
So are you fixing the parts that affect palyers that spend more money than others or not? :v
The azimuth "fix" seems to have removed the compass for M163
finally, proper fuel
you broke FPS again.... it broke with "direct hit"... you fixed it.... this "its fixed" broke it again....
idk man i still dont see a kh29 fix
though that aside, good update
