Soviet Navy
This is a new video in the series where we tell you about the most interesting vehicles of different nations, and today we’re going to talk about… the Soviet Navy. When it comes to raw power, it certainly couldn’t hold a candle to the fleets of other European nations at the start of WW2… but Soviet ships still made an important contribution to the war effort by, for example, escorting Allied convoys throughout the war.
We invite youtubers and streamers to cooperate and offer support depending on the quantity and popularity of your content. More information: https://warthunder.com/en/media/partnership/

RP gain especially for higher tiers are just abysmal... Worse than tanks really.. Games last for like 20 minutes average, twice as long but give the same or less reward... High tier is completely unplayable without premium account. Doesn't get better when battleships are almost unkillable by 5.0 ships and you meet them all the time as very few even play naval. So you're stuck fighting against unkillable ships for weeks or months before you get ships capable of doing enough damage... Poor design.
Naval needs a massive reword, the current state is THE WORST since the navy came to the game, the latest Dreadnought need to be at least 1 BR higher than then strongest ship before the update.
massive rework*, well rewards need to be increased as well.
BakerOne, They did increase the rewards, they were abysmal before, they could be a little better though.
Soviet what? :P Oh, yes. Tsushima and after that nothing... Even lend leased HMS Royal Sovereign wasn't fired guns during soviet service (not even turned turrets)...
My wehraboo friend, you do realize Soviet Navy tech tree will be considerably large when they pass to Cold war for cruisers and such? As for ww2, they were vital for the siege of Leningrad.
The Tashkent we have in game, for example, fought and was sunk at Leningrad
no CC
and, still there is NO sabra mk.2...... gaijin please add sabra mk.2
my 5.0 spokoinyy can't damage cruisers since it only has like 100 pen with it's 130mm guns. now, the spokoinyy is 5.0, which means it can fight battlehsips, which have such thick armor that not even cruisers can damage them. naval still needs A LOT of work.
Yaaay... naval forces... the mode that I dared to invest golden lions into, and was punished by transferring my coastal frigate into a dead-end, zero reward tech tree... hey gaijin, how about we move light tanks, heavy tanks and SPGs into their own trees too, and spawn them 1000m apart on an open plain? That'll teach the light tank players to stop trying too!
So when will you guys give naval the rework that it's been badly needing for the past few years?
We would need the specifics or the changes that you want and if they are even 'realistic'. Generalities are fine, but they do not really help much. You can make a Suggestion here > http://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/forum/611-suggestions/ and the Dev's can look at it. Naval looks very different today from when it was released for the Beta test. No doubt it will evolve again as well. By making Suggestions, you can be a part of that process.
KnightoftheAbyss, Hoped Gaijin would fix so that modern ships don't fight against WW2 ships with the last rework, but there was literally no change in that, they're still mixed in the games... Ships from 1960-1980 with rapid fire cannons and oneshot rockets vs pre-war destroyers... And then there's the battleships at 6.0 which can't be taken down by 5.0 or even 5.3 ships... Even my best 15cm AP shells just plink off when they can oneshot you back, and it takes forever to research anything once you hit 5.0+...
Has the issue of the rear turret on the MBK PR186 mk 85 and the Pr191M being permanently broken been fixed yet? I bought a premium Pr186 because I got a 75% coupon, but half the guns can't shoot because the turret breaks upon spawning, and immediately rebreaks when repaired. You can even see it when previewing the bloody thing in the hanger :'D
Can you please put in a report on that issue. Please select the appropriate section here for the issue > https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/forum/1953-naval-forces/ Thanks
soyviet navy for best of coomrads
