With the release of War Thunder update 1.91, you’ll be able to exclude maps and missions from your personal rotation, as well as mark them as unwanted.
The “Dislike” feature will be available to all players - if a few players from the matching queue have the same mission or location marked as unwanted, the location will be skipped, and the new location will be selected.
An “Exclude” map feature will be available to Premium account owners and guarantees complete removal for the player, of specific locations and missions in multiple gaming modes.
The number of maps and locations that can be selected will be limited for various gaming modes and depends on the overall number of available maps or missions in those specific modes.
The location preference settings work only in random battles in air, land and naval AB and RB.
We are limiting the “Exclude” feature only for Premium account owners as the excluded maps will increase the battle queuing time if all players in a queue have different maps and missions excluded. In such a situation, the matching system will try to find matches for a few players looking for specific maps instead of many players waiting for normal rotation.
We hope that the ability to choose your preferred locations will make your game more enjoyable and comfortable. The War Thunder development team, in our turn, will be able to see which locations most players like or dislike and therefore prioritise for recall, specific maps for revision or removal.
Thank you for playing War Thunder! See you in battle!

Nice change I still would like to have a way to get old event vehicles like TV KV220 etc etc I'm a Xbox player and I want the rare vehicle ls especially the German M4 I almost have all the shermans
Interesting decision, but I question whether it's sustainable for the game if not implemented properly. If premium players exclude a particular map, the non-premium players might have to wait for increased periods of time to play or be forced to play a particular set of maps. Whilst it would be interesting to see whether this decision improves game quality and enjoyment, I am worried that it might also reduce the diversity of the game. I'd personally prefer to play on a multitude of maps.
In case of confusion: you can dislike 3 maps (which doesn't guarantee that you won't get it unless it can find 2 others who dislike same maps) and if you got premium you can rule out 1 map completely, as well.
Thank you Gaijin!! i can finally remove Volokolamsk from my playlist :D
With all the uproar going on lately, this is a welcome surprise the community has been longing for. Hopefully statistics can be gathered which'll tell you which maps the community dislikes, therefore leading to their removal / optimization.

This is a superb feature.
As usual the premium account holders get the best of everything so much for free to play .Not only do they have the pick of the maps every update lately is for the high tier player seem a waste of time us at low tier even playing ,as we always get the second best option or things others don't want . Would be nice for once to be treated as part of the playerbase instead of the poor outsiders drooling at the window of what might have or could be provided you all behave
So in your mind... if you pay (and support War Thunder) you should get nothing?
All players can dislike a map and significantly decrease the chances of coming across it. Premium players don't have to deal with them at all. Seems like a reasonable trade-off for supporting the devs.
Hopefully it is only on test servers, if there is not too much waiting time to enter a battle
FINALLY!!! Have more than 8000 battles and those huge maps were the reason I stopped playing the game! Total waste of time if you have limited time to play the game. My premium account expired a few days ago and I was not going to renew it by I am definitely going to now! Thank you Gaijin! Time to get back in action!!!
