With the release of War Thunder update 1.91, you’ll be able to exclude maps and missions from your personal rotation, as well as mark them as unwanted.
The “Dislike” feature will be available to all players - if a few players from the matching queue have the same mission or location marked as unwanted, the location will be skipped, and the new location will be selected.
An “Exclude” map feature will be available to Premium account owners and guarantees complete removal for the player, of specific locations and missions in multiple gaming modes.
The number of maps and locations that can be selected will be limited for various gaming modes and depends on the overall number of available maps or missions in those specific modes.
The location preference settings work only in random battles in air, land and naval AB and RB.
We are limiting the “Exclude” feature only for Premium account owners as the excluded maps will increase the battle queuing time if all players in a queue have different maps and missions excluded. In such a situation, the matching system will try to find matches for a few players looking for specific maps instead of many players waiting for normal rotation.
We hope that the ability to choose your preferred locations will make your game more enjoyable and comfortable. The War Thunder development team, in our turn, will be able to see which locations most players like or dislike and therefore prioritise for recall, specific maps for revision or removal.
Thank you for playing War Thunder! See you in battle!

Will this become available for up/down tiering of vehicles aswell? Or atleast make a feature with which you can opt for being uptiered/downtiered or just fight at your own BR. Have like a selection that you can be uptieren AND downtiered, and one selection that you will fight at your own BR. It is getting rediculous to fight with WW2 era tanks like the King Tiger, against 1972 French tanks. This is what we really want!
Premium account only, how kind.
It's good, but keep improving the game and fix the MM (This isnt enough). #SavetheMaus
Keep fixing the game. The BR and MM need a serious improvement. #SaveTheMaus
Thank you, I will spend 100$ + now thanks great job development, we love this features.
We love Gaijin, we love the beautiful tank models in this game, great job.
With all of the discontent within the community you'd think Gaijin would want this to be for all players, not just Premium
It is nice to see Gaijin emplementing features in the game that could make it better! Over the past year or so I have gotten the feeling that the community has not been listened to when it comes to addressing issues and Gaijin just decided to add more vehicles...but this gives me new hope. At times I have considered finding a new favorite game to play but for one reason or another I have stuck around. Lets hope there is more good changes to come(like BR issues and balancing) :)
Queue times wouldnt change much if everyone is able to exclude maps, after all the comunity hats the same 6 maps so those would just apear from rotation. Also can we get a Game mode Filter? i cant stand Battle mode or whatever the double cap layout is called.
Goodbye Vietnam.
