328 accounts have been banned in War Thunder because of prohibited client modification use.
Be fair to both your opponents and allies alike - it’s an important rule in any battle in War Thunder which will allow players to enjoy the game.
Take note!
Although the features of War Thunder mechanics are such that most forbidden modifications will simply not work or will at best provide extremely meager opportunities, the advertisement of such modifications is full of loud promises. After all, the main target of these modifications is your money, and the developers of these modifications don’t care about what happens to your account, which is so valuable to you.
As you can see, there are some players who believed in these generous promises.
Punishment is inevitable
We will not allow dishonest play. In War Thunder we use a highly effective algorithm. It is based on analyzing the difference in the behavior of players who have only legitimate information provided to them from the game interface and players who have information that contains more data - service data intended primarily for the internal needs of the game client.
It is simply impossible to hide the use of forbidden modifications in War Thunder. For the honest players the mechanics of the recognition algorithm have been built conservatively to avoid false positives. Each suspicious player will be checked additionally by our employees after it is detected by the recognition algorithm.
Price of temptation - the effect on your account
No. We will not return the account to you even if the modification has been launched “only once”, if your friend used your account or even if the cat is to blame for everything.
But what should you do if the account has been hacked? Don’t allow it!
It is very simple to protect your account:
- Use a complex password that differs from your email password.
- Switch 2-step-authentication (support page how to do it) on for your account - it is very useful in protecting the account.
- Don’t be tempted to install modifications many of which not only don’t work but also simply steal accounts.
- Don’t share your account.
Play fair. It is more interesting!
