Tank sport model variants have been especially designed for Tank football. From what could previously be considered an armoured monster, we now have a real sporting machine: a lightweight body construction comprising of special alloys, a tuned racing chassis, and of course, a turbocharged engine. These vehicles are capable of powerful boosts thanks to their special muzzle brake compensator construction!
Initially, the muzzle brake compensator “Munchausen” was designed to allow armoured vehicles to overcome ditches, walls and water obstacles, but it was not introduced into service as it did not allow the use of traditional shells. Because of this, the Global Tank Football Association adopted it specifically for competitive matches.
The use of such a muzzle brake together with a special powder charge allows the tank to impart a large impulse in the direction of the cannon. Use this opportunity for spectacular strikes, intercepting the ball and also for overturning any opponents.
2 events are available:
- 3 vs 3 for random players (not in the squad)
- 4 vs 4 for squads
The match has 2 regular 5 minutes halves each. In the case of a draw, players will get 2 additional periods of 1.5 minutes each. Only game time is taken into account (as in five a side or mini football). If the results after the two additional periods is still a draw - the victory will not be awarded to any team.

i just played a game for dis, i got hit by an enemy tank and i think i broke my leg, lay on the ground crying for a bit and eventually ref gave enemy red card, suddenly leg all better! scored!! so happy!
I was wondering where the "take a dive" key was. Is it a special key mapping? Maybe the R key for Ronaldo?

Looks fun, and now that a few of your developers are finished with this side project you can have them take a look at fixing ATGMs and adjusting the physics so a stop sign doesn't bring a heavy tank to a complete stop....r-right?
Oh just you wait until the moment you hit a wooden pole about 2ft tall and completely stops 98% of medium/heavy tanks. Absolutely mind boggling
I really have to agree with you on this one derpset. Older maps weren't quite as bad, but when thin wooden fences on Maginot or Japan are bringing heavy tanks at a full charge to a dead stop, something needs addressing.
I have NO interest in Footballs on my Tanks. I hate all these ridiculous events and decals which have absolutely NO place in a game liken this. GET REAL

I doubt we will see these skins outside the event so no problem. People are slapping ugly decals on their vehicles all the time anyway so it couldnt even get worse...

thefliris, The weapon would work by having the cartidge (which weighed the same as the shell) being shot out the back of the cannon theoretically causing very little recoil.
