Unless you have the numbers to bomb the airfield on the first go, don't waste your bombs on the airfield. Learn how to bomb light pill/pill boxes (100 tickets each) from high altitude (3-5K). Bombing the three bases and knocking out 12-14 targets will usually win a game after 18-20 minutes. Ships and tanks usually must be bombed from low altitude and take some practice. You must wait to bomb such targets when enemy fighters are away from them and only if it will be for the win.
Crash Course?.... current state of game with massively over performing armaments at all levels = you're gonna die instantly... from just about anything that looks at you. If your bomber has a payload of more than 3 bombs, good luck dropping them all before POOF! you dead. When a 1.7 BR Bf 109 E-1 shooting 7.92's takes the tail, both wings and bursts my 5.7 BR PB4Y into a total flame ball in one pass....... something is very wrong.... point - click - BOOM .... not much of a game like that ...
What about bombers that can take out 1 target with 1 drop in realistic like the ju-88
I remember when you could actually use bombers in air AB before they nerfed their altitude :(
This is honestly just insulting. "It only takes a single good burst, to turn your bird...into a ball of flame." In reality these aircraft were not nearly that susceptible to being taken out, and it took a whole lot more than just "one good burst". Often taking two, or three passes on the bomber, before being able to saw a wing off.
Yes, bombers defensive weapons and gunners should be buffed (boosted) a lot, and their structural strength as well. And this claim should not be taken as a bombing pilot complain, personally I guess it's a must due to the current huge disadvantages bombers face in Arcade Battles. Figure that an encounter with a fighter means the bomber will not reach even it's first target, usually dying in a couple of seconds or maybe damaged to be uncontrollable and dying 15 seconds later. This is not fair.
I guess, despite each player may have personal preferences, we all give new vehicles a try from time to time, and flying bombers is very disappointing when suffering rapid midair deaths given every fighter has MANY chances to kill you instantly as a sitting duck, as if the big bird had no defensive weapons at all, nor any structural strength. A balance boost to make a fighter think twice before attacking a bomber would be welcome, it could make bombing much more interesting !!!
Give bombers an air respawn after they land. They are absolutely useless if they survive their first run because they can't climb to height fast enough.
"There are 4 ways to survive: stay above them, shoot at them, pray your teammates give a shit, and pray your teammates give a shit." Idk about you but I only see 2 methods that actually have a chance
bombers in higher brs and rank 3 don't last long and I think people are getting fed up with it, people like me go for the war bonds tasks and then also the specials, but some are too hard and I think you should unlock rank 2 for all tasks because some say bomb targets and its a rank 3 and 80% of the time I wont make it and it takes me an hour and half too bomb 4 bases but the special tasks are 10x worse because they make you bomb 15 bases and that would sometimes take me 5+ hours
