Commanders, officers and other Squadron members, attention! In the nearest future we plan to run a closed test for the “World War” mode. The squadrons that will take part in the testing will be chosen through applications.
Please notice that each test session requires at least 26 players (1 commander/officer, 20 members and 5 people for the back-up)
|
The application form is only available for commanders, their deputies, and officers! |

Hold up. The screenshots showign army assets include infantry. Will they be represented ourign battles? Either directly or via convoy vehicles and fortifications?
Is this only for RB players?
"Battles take place in a common mode – RB with markers". https://warthunder.com/en/news/4677-development-world-war-mode
Gaijin what the heck? First you release italy and now world war mode is around the corner in a way. God damn you are doing a fantastic job.
"Oh cool! a new gamemode! pfft you wanna play our new gamemode that we've been developing for over two years? NAH SQUADRONS ONLY, JUST A PRANK BRO"
Excellent idea, hope the graphics are as good as they are in War Thunder
When i click send the application it tells survey not found webpoll
Too much whining from people without squadrons. It was pretty clear from the start that this mode would require teamplay that only squadrons can provide. My problem with this is the huge amount of players online required at the same time. How many clans can get 26 members in one session? 5 at most? And also that euro/russian schedule makes it impossible for us americans clans to participate
This looks sick!
Would it be THAT HARD to release an "eSport Version" for this phase and release a "normal" version for those not interested in the Squadron vs Squadron stuff? And also, it seems like little more than a fancy display of existing stuff ingame and not a wider variety of maps and such. Kinda sad. But then again, I feared y'all would merely string the broken stuff together instead of truly fixing the problems.........*audible sigh*
A few weeks ago there was a SqB testing event in tournament format with the idea of seeing how squadrons approached these types of gameplay features, now this event would been great for green squadron players to learn these features however the event was instantly nuked byseasoned and experienced squadrons snuffing out newer squadrons and killing any chance for anyone learn a thing. Is this going to be the same or are green squads going to be represented and be able to participate on even terms
