We are happy to introduce the launch research tree for Japanese armoured vehicles that will be available in the next major update 1.65 “Way of the Samurai”
Those who purchased one or both of the Japanese packs will have immediate access to the full tree, whilst they are within closed testing. Alternate means of access will be announced in the news, so stay tuned!
At the moment we have plans for 5 branches:

Currently, you can pre-order premium Japanese vehicle packs and gain access to the closed testing of Japanese Ground Forces- these packs contain a Japanese medium tank with a devastating 120mm howitzer and the legendary “Tiger” tank export variant for Japanese army!

Please remember this is the starting tree, other vehicles can and may be added later dependant on validity.
only one heavy? ayy lmao
The hype is real, Good job!
Got my bundle now that I saw the pre-order bonuses are shown in the store. Gonna be rocking my tanks out with Sakura, Samurai Helmet, 1938 (Type 98) Officer Gendaito and the Confident Victory decal and to hell with having camo, fashion is more important
THANK YOU!!!!!!! it took a long wait and for a while what we could hear from the devs was "it's hard" or "it's not possible" but now, thankfully, WT will be "complete" P.S: don't forget about the O-Is, they won't be the most dynamic but there will still be players using them, and since it was stated that "prototypes could be added if they existed in metal and the nation does not have an alternative" I hope to see the 2 O-I prototypes and the Type 4/5 (partial prototype, turret built)
Will the whole tech tree be available from the start even if we don't purchase the packs?
Wow this is so awesome! I am especially glad to see some of these machines! Keep up the great work guys! :D
thank you

Probably won't devote much time to grinding them, but will be very nice to have some new enemy tanks to fight.
I am like many others that have posted. I am amazed at all the different types of tanks in the TT. Many thanks to all at Gaijin for all the hard work in making a great game even better!!
you are most welcome, thanks.
