The Horten Ho IX (also called Gotha Go 229) was an experimental German jet aircraft powerd by two Junkers Jumo 109-004B turbojet engines, with a nominal thrust of 890 kg each. It was a pure flying wing design and the only aircraft approaching the 3 x 1000 requirement set by Hermann Göring - carry 1,000 kg (2,200 lb) of bomb load for a distance of 1,000 km (620 mi) at a speed of 1,000 (620 mph) km per hour. The aircraft was supposed to have a ceiling of 15,000 meters (49,000 ft).

This beautiful flying machine is coming to War Thunder. Our team is tirelessly working on it and one of the most anticipated German aircraft is paving its way in to the game.
