Pilots and Tankers!
We announce the start of open beta of War Thunder on the NVIDIA® SHIELD™, which launched last week in the United States and Canada. This cutting edge technology allows for complete cross-compatibility amongst already supported platforms and will allow you to play War Thunder with friends on PC, PlayStation®4, Mac and Linux. Find out more about NVIDIA SHIELD here
Powered by the revolutionary NVIDIA Tegra® X1 processor, the new NVIDIA SHIELD device provides War Thunder players access to more than 400 military planes from the WWII and Korean War eras and provides a highly realistic aerial battle experience.
“Our goal is to provide players with a free cross-platform experience. With the start of War Thunder OBT on Android, we’ve crossed the border between mobile and desktop devices. Thanks to the capabilities of the NVIDIA Tegra X1-powered SHIELD, War Thunder players can now get access to their favorite game on one more new platform,” said Anton Yudintsev, CEO of Gaijin Entertainment
This is an Open Beta version of the game for Android and everything is a subject to change. At the moment, only Air Arcade and Air Realistic Battles are available, but you can use the same account in Windows, Linux or Mac versions of the game for Ground Forces battles.
