Watch the teaser trailer of "Panfilov's 28 men" here:
This war film is dedicated to the legendary deeds of the 28 soldiers from the Red Army's 316th Rifle Division that took part in the defense of Moscow in 1941 and destroyed 18 German tanks. The division was commanded by Major-general Ivan Panfilov. This is why the soldiers have been given the name "28 Panfilov's Guardsmen". They were collectively endowed with the title 'Hero of the Soviet Union'. The premiere of the movie is planned for November of 2015.
Producer and Director of the movie 'Panfilov's 28 men' Andrey Shalyopa:
«I appreciate the War Thunder developers’ professionalism and accuracy in historic details. But even more important is their attitude to the War which is in harmony with my vision of history. Gaijin Entertainment not only supports the movie financially, they have become a real partner for us. With our knowledge, skills and experience combined, we now can face even more complex challenges. Together we can create an epic movie about true heroes we are all looking for.»
«One of our most important missions is to preserve the memory of World War II and its heroes. “Panfilov’s 28 men” is a unique project which immediately gained huge attention from the public and gathered a record-breaking sum with the crowdfunding campaign. It shows that this is a serious movie and we are thrilled to become the partners of it. We have a lot of experience in CG and sound production and we are happy to help the movie’s team at all production stages», – comments Anton Yudintsev, CEO of Gaijin Entertainment.
