*insert comments from salty 12 year olds who don't understand naval combat in any way, and then complain about not having big ships even though there are 1000 reasons that would never work. Comming from a non-salty and not 12 year old, the ship progress is looking great, can't wait for the CBT
It's already confirmed, that most of it is gonna be chaotic spamfest, while trying to capture "Circles" on water, with no real strategy involved. So yeah. It really sounds like so much fun...
Im sorry but you can not say that boats are better. The gameplay looked soooo booring and pointless, i know its just alpha and i want to see how that will change in CBT
That's pretty cool! Now let's imagine how small a Sherman would be beside a gigantic, beautiful, player-desired, powerful and juicy battleship.
Could it be? So rare! Another player who demands big ships, but can't comprehend how big ships don't work in a game like this. I've never seen someone who doesn't know about naval combat complaining about big ships before! If only there was an Arcady and unrealistic game that could satisfy all your unreasonable needs, if only a game like WoWS existed...
Wunterslaush, Now, if you check the forum thread Scarper started, there are dozens of great solutions that'd make actual naval combat work, not one was approved. I'm not sure if it's lazyness or just ignorance, but if they weren't gonna listen in the first place then they shouldn't even have bothered asking. Player controlled capitals are not impossible, but Gaijin has decided to implement things that requires less effort. Look at the boat vs boat combat, it's so barebone my dog could be effective in one.
With those walpapers GJ subconsciously shows us the truth - these are not ships, but swimming tanks without tracks at best.
Dunno what kind of screen you have, but you should clean it up a little, because you are seeing strange, not existing things there.
Stona_WT, The things he sees are the hallucination of big ships, nothing on his screen, just a disappointing image of "boats"
If logic is played into this, these are not the only naval units we will receive, that's like for example the entire American Tank tree having only a M4A2. Everyone seems to think this is the end, This is literally just the beginning, I hope to try this soon Gaijin.
I either can't wait to try them! Did you buy your way into the CBT? I bought the PT-109. :D
LunarRainbow, So excited, I got both
This is awesome. But I question your choice of tanks. M6A1 Land Boat for US, T-35 Mud Sub for USSR :)
psst, why I can't like this more than once? Where's British's tog :^)

This is perfect size for pool on Poland map.
LOVELY!
i hope those are just tier 1 or 2's, don't tell me we'll have patrol boats with .50 cals on tier V
Don't worry, at tier V, we'll get 40 mm autocannons. -^__'-
"Insert comment from 35 year old wallet warrior defending Gaijin to the last whilst simultaneously calling everyone else stupid and maintaining that he is holier than thou."
Well said, that made my day!
PS4 still waiting comrade gajin...
