In the upcoming major update "Red Skies", we are adding into the game a camera that tracks the flight and fall of naval shells. A similar camera can be found in air battles, where holding down the “space bar” allows you to track dropped air bombs, rockets or torpedoes. In naval battles, War Thunder captains will be able to precisely aim the salvoes of their main calibre guns. After a volley, the guns are reloaded, and you can personally follow the flight of the ranging or main salvo and more accurately adjust your aim for the next one. Besides, watching the shells flying over the battle scape is just very beautiful!
At the time of the “Red Skies” update release, the new camera will be implemented for the non-automatic main battery guns of the War Thunder bluewater fleet.

Can gunboat use it?
Good God, this is E P I C . 👍
They should make a version for ground assaults since there ARE tanks that ARE artillery vehicles but aren't able to be used properly like them nor does gaijin have any ambition to make them actually work AS intended it would fix the gap by making tank rounds watchable.
No No NO NO. Is there a little camera in real life that's connected to those tank rounds by a little string? No there isn't, so it has no place in the game. The bomb camera is different because it's a one time thing. It can't be repeated from the same spot 5 seconds later. It can't be used to gather intel and then make adjustments to try again immediately. This is going to make people godlike in that they will have access to views and info they would never have had and should never have.
