One result of the Japanese-German cooperation was a twin-engine jet aircraft fighter-bomber, the Nakajima Kitsuka (Kikka), whose name translates from the Japanese as "wild orange flower." This aircraft was also designated "Imperial Weapon No.2" by the Japanese. It was powered by two Ishikawajima Ne-20 turbojets and could reach speeds of up to 695 kmh (433 mph) and had two 30 mm Type 5 cannons.
