We are proud to announce the start of the long anticipated closed beta testing of the World War gaming mode. The first War Thunder squadrons invited to test the new gameplay this Tuesday, July 11th. We will be sending new invites for squadrons that have applied for World War CBT before a new testing sessions start. Stay tuned!
Squadrons are chosen randomly among those that have applied to join the World War CBT. Commanders will receive invites via e-mail in addition to a personal message on the official War Thunder forums.

AB MARKERS IN RB xD of course :/
This should require skill not help them out with markers. With markers there is no point in flanking or any strategic movements or locations since you will be spotted in a matter of seconds. I know this isn't the final product but do you really have to use AB?
Harveyp1, There is point in flanking. You did not saw how battles are look like, so please, wait before you start to draw conclusions.

I supppose you havent played T26 e1 vs Any kind of tiger (220000 rp for a 6,7 usa "heavy tank" who cant penetrate a tiger and can be killed from anything of his rating (both tigers, porsche and henschel need the same rp than a T26E1)).

I remember WWM was promissed to bring SB new depth and add new mechanics to the mode...now it has become an AB/RB only thing...
It's just about to start testing... No description I have seen says no SB
AttackerCat, They specifically say there will only be 1 world war at any given time. Not one for each game mode, but one over all. Because of that they settled on RB settings with AB's bullshit marker system included (the absolute worst feature of AB in my opinion, completely makes any cover that isn't bulletproof completely meaningless). So yes, this means NO SB.
Damn sucks there are no infantry and navy in the game but yet they are rolling out this World War mode already.
