Take a part in the event “Battle of Kursk”
Aircraft (АB, RB, SB) | Ground vehicles АB, RB, SB |
Beginning of the Soviet offensive in the Battle of Kursk | Battle of Kursk. Near the Kursk Salient |
On the 5th of July 1943, the battle of Kursk began - the biggest tank battle in the history of WWII.
In commemoration of the anniversary of the victory of Soviet troops in the Battle of Kursk, we would like to present to you an event with the same name in which players can take part in the historical confrontation by using historical vehicles which actually participated in the battle.
In addition to the composition of the vehicles that participated in the battle, we have tried to take into consideration many of the nuances including the balance of forces involved in the course of the battle, when creating of the event in game.
Note: Planes flyout are deactivated in Arcade Ground Forces battles.

Arcade events will be temporary stopped due to spawn bug. They should return soon™
Now if only you had AI infantry, it would make this 10x better, i swear on that
Oh yeah! That would give us something extra to effectively use our coax, Willie Pete (smoke) , & shrapnel rounds against! Just give `em some grenadier & engineering units, so we have to be a bit wary. Oorah!
speak for your self as i play this game because it is not a First P Shooter and i tell you Giajin if you implement infantry ai or other then i will not play this game near as much if at all though if there where some pill box to fight as a tank i would not object to it.
my body is ready
So now prepare your vehicles!
Stona_WT, Stona, That is a quote from Regine of Nintendo from E3
''victory of Soviet troops in the Battle of Kursk'' ehum? I beg your pardon?
What do you mean? The Soviets won Kursk.
It was a strategic withdrawal ?
Hordes of T-34/76 vs Pz. 4 F2, Panthers, Stugs & Ferdinands ? Sign me up! :D
Signed!
there are no Ferdinands... you got gaijined
I want my Tiger and my Ferdie!!.
gods, those tank and infantry on that picture look like those from WOT. this painting effect really lower the quality.
any rewards ? no ? okey
Heck no then id have to grind it out and it would stop being fun and instead just a rage inducing chore. Keep this event nice and free of anything except enjoying the history.
Nice... but maybe somebody remember "Operation Zitadelle" made by one of our players? - tanks set included few tanks of different types available for whole team (not a single player), - minefields on battlefield, - infantry in action, - tanks die when one crew die (special rule), - AI air support bombarding cap point, - no enemy marks, - friendly-fire on, Maybe Gaijin should ask modders to build more interesting events...
rp and sl's bonus?
This time only "fun" bonus.
Thulle_, The "fun bonus " is repairing the vehicles after having fun?
Just the thing I needed after a 4th of July. An awesome event again!
Enjoy!
