You are an excellent warrior with a score of burning enemies in your wake, but your many trials have left only your driver and gunner unhurt. And the enemy is hot on your heels. «Oh, if only I had a second chance. I’d show them!» - Now you do have a second chance! We are pleased to present an improvement to gameplay in War Thunder tank battles – a trauma pack for the crew.
In Update 1.59 ‘Flaming Arrows’, any ground vehicle can be equipped with a trauma pack,
which allows you to bring one crew member per vehicle per battle back into the action.
The trauma pack can be obtained like any ordinary consumable module in the vehicle research menu and is spent in battle automatically when only one crew member is left in your tank. If you have no trauma pack or have spent it, your vehicle will be considered destroyed when there are less than two crew members left, as before. The mechanics are the same for all modes.
Use this new chance and lead your team to victory, whatever happens!
See you on the battlefield!
The War Thunder Team
Update: After evaluating your feedback on the recent developer's blog about the planned introduction of Trauma Packs, we have decided not to include the mechanic with the release of Update 1.59 'Flaming Arrows', but to send it back for revision instead.
There are already multiple ideas in internal discussion also based on your suggestions, and we'll be happy to hear your feedback once again as soon as we have more information to share.
We'd like to thank everyone who took his time to leave his constructive feedback on the topic! Be invited to leave your further ideas and suggestions in the respective areas.

No, no, no, JUST NO! Same thing as last man standing and removal of 8.0 BR. It's just nonsense. No sane person needs to try such features as they are all rubbish A human hit by a cannon round cannot be healed by bandages. If you get shot, then you deserve to lose. We don't want a second chance. What's with all this hand holding? How is this realistic? Why do you implement such things in RB and SB? Tank crews bail tank after it's penetrated, they do not make a damn field hospital in a burning tank.
They are removing 8.8 again?
I am confused. Are you saying that you want all tanks to be considered destroyed after any shell pens any place in the tank or are you just saying that just because? I know that i do not want my tank to be destroyed because someone penned my commanders hatch with an APCR round. Plus if you truly want realism then I think they should add all of the mechanical issues that tanks had. I believe that putting that in would not make the game very fun if your tank just broke down 30 seconds in the match
Please NO! UN-asked! UN-wanted! UN-needed!
really? give me a break
Smin1080p, it's not, people wanted options to replace dead crew members, not bringing them back to life. This is ridiculous.
It really shouldn't activate when only a single crew member is left. It should only heal wounded crew members instead of this necromancy/LMS 2.0. This is just going to make people mad.
TheABism17, yes
As soon as i saw this, i was infuriated! i can not go back to LMS! i agree with you, it should only heal. Not REVIVE!!!
I came to wt to get away from this in wot No no and just no
Care to elaborate?
Tuxee, This is the same thing as the medkit in wot
Keep your comments within the rules. No exceptions!
Indeed, please make an official thread in the forum to talk about this. Thanks in advance Scarper.
can I say the word nipple?
So now those almost impervious t-34's will get "an extra life"....great....
use different ammo or just get gud. if you don't know how to disable t-34 now days it tells allot
MrTeaRex, Such a troll
this can save us lots os SL's :)
An unwelcome addition. "If I only had a second chance" does not have an end to it, "if I only had yet another chance!" "Oh, just one more!" No. The important part is to not miss your only chance, and accept defeat if you do.
I think this should be free a upgrade on all spaded vehicles
agreed
You will need to research it.
all spaded tanks will become upsnaded because of new researchable item !?!?!
Yes, good job on understanding how upgrades work.
Yes. As it is an additional module to unlock.
