A couple of serious corrections. 1) The Ratel began production in 1975 until 1993, not the late 1960s. 2) The Ratel was employed against SWAPO and FAPLA, not UNITA which were South Africa's allies. 3) The Eland 90s role as an escort was given to the Ratel 90 as the Eland 90 got stuck and couldn't keep up with the Ratels. 4) The Olifant upgrade took the form of the Mk1B in the early 1990s and Mk2 in 2004.
Eland 90's were relied upon and were used against T-54/55s relying on speed and their heat round. Many were lost in the process as South Africa didn't have an MBT to field reliably. Most Western Nations backed UNITA as a smokescreen on their support for Apartheid South Africa.

As someone with personal reasons to be really happy about having these be added to the game, I'm extremely grateful! Many may gripe about them, but it doesn't overcast that we now have access to something far more sentimental than anything else offered so far. The Olifant Mk.1 in particular adds some of that delicious non-premium apfsds to the british teams at 8.3. I'm hoping we can look forward to the G6 and Rooivalk at some point~

Would be nice to include other South African military vehicles and aircraft.. Cheetah, Denel Rooivalk, Impala, GV6 Renoster, Valkiri Mk 1 127mm MRL and the Patria AMV.
The Line up will only be complete once the class leading G6-SPG is brought into the game along with the Rooivalk Helicopter. Great work from Gaijin !
