Its a shame that they think bombers were made out of paper, one burst of cannon fire can easily take down 3 flying "fortress" in a tight formation in game. Since this game is supposed to be historically accurate, i guess that German were just bad pilots,you see in the 2nd raid on Schweinfurt (the worst day in wwii to be in a b-17) the Germans who had about 500 fighters lost +- 230 (109s and 190s) only killing 77 and damaging 120(according to the video this N° is impossible)of 290 unescorted B17

A perfect example of a "guide" done someone who doesn't even play the game. Anyone who has tried flying bombers properly has figured those out long time a ago and found them completely useless thanks to how broken the air meta has gotten over the 5 years. We have a game mode that has been designed around Eastern Front low-level tactical air combat with tons of planes meant for high-altitude strategic air combat added over the years. Result: complete mess that simple buff/nerf won't fix anymore.

What bring Allies bomber faster back to hangar? The Ta152 and Do335 air spawns. Please, be free to remove this air spawns like from the P47.

actually. due to bombers never wait for fighter escort the fighters have basicly given up on covering bombers. so fighter escort isnt a option british planes and high altitude never happens due to terrible climb rate. so thats not an option for the brits. and unlike everyone else. brits have little to no defenses with the exeption of the halifax and sunderland. this mostly leaves us having to do the defensive formation. and even then good luck as it will instantly fail as defensive gon wont work

I fully understand peoples perception of bombers currently in the game, there is a lot to be re-worked on for this to work correctly. I understand the difficulties that Gaijin must go through to make this game as accurate and more importantly balanced (for gameplay purposes) for every change you do on lets say a spitfire this will have an adverse effect of many other planes. So just be patient let them work on WWM and Ships, overtime changes will come.

To avoid this, make sure you change your plan and do get straight to targets (above enemy fighters). Flying bombers requires patience and flying away (opposite direction sometimes) from targets until enemy fighters are lower than you.
