The fairy spring comes to us, the time of the new life and love. These days we can’t think of anything except ladies! And we have a very special lady in War Thunder - meet PBY Catalina, the flying legend of WWII.

Designed in early 1930s, Consolidated Aircraft’s PBY Catalina  served in various roles all during the World War II. The unique flying boat was irreplaceable for some kinds of operations and was appreciated by soldiers and civils of many nations.

Today we have a special contest of inspiration for you, War Thunder artists! From March 7th till March 10th send us your artwork -  picture, postcard or collage - based on in-game image of PBY Catalina of any modification or nation. Feel free to use any camo, decals and roundels you want! You’re also allowed to use any kind of post-FX, retouching, and editing. Just stick to these easy rules:
 

• Contest is held among War Thunder players registered on official game forums;
• One participant - one picture in decent quality (not less than 1280x720 px)
• Picture should not violate moral, ethical and legal standards established in the game and on the forum
• Picture must contain the in-game image of PBY Catalina
• Your artwork should be published in the dedicated topic on the forum.
• The winners will be announced March 12 2013.

1st place - 5000 Golden Eagles + 30 days of Premium
2nd place - 3500 Golden Eagles + 15 days of Premium
3rd place - 1500 Golden Eagles + 7 days of Premium
