WAR THUNDER TO LAUNCH IN CHINA IN 2014

China’s Largest Publisher and Global Power Tencent to Publish Gaijin Entertainment’s Mega-Hit War Thunder

Gaijin Entertainment, largest independent developer and publisher in Russia, has announced an exclusive publishing agreement with Tencent Holdings Ltd, a leading provider of comprehensive Internet services in China. Tencent will publish and distribute Gaijin Entertainment’s award-winning, mega-hit WWII MMO War Thunder in China.

This agreement further extends War Thunder’s global reach, which includes North America, Europe and other countries. Currently, War Thunder boasts more than six million players worldwide and the addition of the Chinese market will significantly increase the total population of pilots and tankers in the game.

“We have seen our player population grow to well over six million pilots enjoying War Thunder. This agreement with Tencent will enable us to bring War Thunder to one of the largest gaming populations in the world.” said Anton Yudintsev, CEO of Gaijin Entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to work with Gaijin to bring War Thunder to China. With Tencent’s years of experience in online games operation and Gaijin’s professional development capabilities,  we can definitely deliver the most authentic warfare experience to large number of military fans in China.”, said Gram Xu, General Manager of Tencent Shooting Games.
