IL-2 is one of the most produced combat aircraft, it's a ground attack plane that used to inspire the Soviet troops and scare the enemy. IL-2 is a weapon of the great victory and we are particularly proud to offer players of War Thunder fly this mighty bird.
Alpha tester and a fan-movie creator DEDA has completed a new short film that depicts not only the in-game IL-2 but also a REAL plane of that model which was reconstructed by WWII aviation enthusiasts in Novosibirsk, Russia.
