Dear players!
Tonight we are introducing the new update 1.45 for the first time. Testing will take place from 20:00 GMT on 5th December to 02:00 GMT of 6th December.
New aircraft, ground vehicles, maps - all of this is waiting for you in 1.45! Players, who do not know about the new features may check our devblog and help us with testing on the DEV-server Steel Generals are on their way and eager to join battlefields of War Thunder in Update 1.45 at any time after its release, but US ground vehicles will only be allowed to enter the fight after being tested by most experienced players - you!
Let’s move on to the most important Information! Update 1.45 starts a unique project. For the first time in the project’s history we invite players to take part in a most important stage of development: testing new vehicles in the same battles as already released vehicles . Alongside you, the players, we will tune and launch the US armoured vehicles branch into open testing.
Currently on the DEV-server, two American tanks are already available for everyone: the M2A4 and the M3 Stuart!
With the next opening of the Dev-server, our new US armoured vehicles will be available.
Be the one who helps the developers to release the Steel Generals after Update 1.45 goes live! Join the testing team and try all of the US ground vehicles or enter the game once in a few days and get more of the “Steel Generals”in your hangar.

Testers’ task - to help us uncover even the most insignificant bugs and tune the Battle Rating accurately.Testing team members will regularly receive new vehicles every few days which will become available to all players after being tested. Thus we hope that your help will make it possible to make a launch of US ground vehicles of the highest quality.
How can you join the testing team? There will be 3 ways to join the team, follow the news!
The US tank tree for all other players will be updated with new “Generals” once the have been tuned by the testers.
