Hi everyone! Not long ago, we showed you the progress on the premium PLZ45 SPG, which you can read about in our Work in Progress dev blog. Now the vehicle is ready and will be available in your hangars in the upcoming major War Thunder update. You can pre-order the PLZ45 starting today to be among the first to get the vehicle itself, a unique decal and title, Golden Eagles, and days of Premium account time!

Using the PLZ45 in battle

Let’s briefly recap what we discussed last time. The PLZ45 is a modern SPG equipped with a long-barreled 155 mm howitzer. It fires semi-armor-piercing shells, standard high-explosive rounds, and an HE shell with a proximity fuze. It lacks a laser rangefinder, so the PLZ45 demands solid gunnery skills and an understanding of enemy armor weak spots. However, a well-placed hit can inflict catastrophic damage or send the enemy straight back to the hangar!
