This July 4th marks the 243rd anniversary of when American colonists declared independence from Great Britain, officially marking the beginning of the American Revolutionary War and resulting in the birth of a new nation based upon common ideals. Observed as one of the largest holidays of the year, Independence Day comes with parades, fireworks, food, and parties all across the country.

On behalf of the War Thunder staff we would like to say Happy Birthday America, and wish all our US players the best on this day of festivities!   

From 4th of July till 07:00 GMT on the 6th of July

Play 3 battles with an activity level of 60% or higher using US vehicles of rank II and above and receive the unique “4th of July” decal.

Achieve first place in the team whilst playing US vehicles of rank II or higher for any team and get the unique pin up decal "Liberty Belle". Decal by Jej 'CharlieFoxtrot' Ortiz

  • This task can be performed in random battles but not in “Enduring Confrontation” and [Assault] game modes.
  • To follow your progress you will need to click on “Your nickname”  → Achievements → Independence day USA.
