Italian tank destroyers are perhaps some of the most renowned wartime SPGs for their excellence and the Semovente 105/25 M43 is no exception! Nicknamed the “dachshund”, this low profile SPG came from design that offered low cost and efficiency being based originally from existing M15/42 tanks with some modifications. Packing a deadly 105mm howitzer, this compact and stealthy machine compares favorably even to the more famous German StuGs and Jagdpanzers at equal ranks.
