Developed in the late 60s, BO 105 multipurpose helicopters were used for civilian and military needs in many countries. This light helicopter with two turboshaft engines and a four-bladed main rotor stands out due to its high reliability: all the vehicle’s main systems are duplicated. The average speed is around 240 km/h, but the helicopter itself is exceptionally maneuverable. Its two-engine design gives it a chance to find a landing zone even when one of its engines is damaged. An experimental CB-2 version was developed in the 80s and differs from researchable versions with eight American TOW ATGMs.
