On each second Sunday in September, War Thunder celebrates the service of those brave tankers - an important day for our players and the development team.
Every day, players from the whole world participate in battles with armoured vehicles in War Thunder. We wish our tankers a powerful volley, lucky ricochets and strong armour in virtual battle.
From 10:00 GMT on the 11th of September until 07:00 GMT on the 14th of September
Terms
- Play 3 battles with an ingame activity of 60% or higher whilst controlling Soviet vehicles of rank II or higher and get the “Tank Troop Chevron” decal.
- Win 5 times with an ingame activity of 60% or higher whilst controlling Soviet vehicles of rank II or higher and get a new “Beware of tanks” decoration or purchase this achievement and get the prize immediately without performing the task.

KV-1E (USSR)

If only tank battles were actually playable and not constantly obliterated by helicopters and aircrafts with insane repair costs and no rewards, making it a loss to play.... Give us a tank only mode!
If only the 100 event was a permanent game mode.

Its a Russian holiday...
I do feel the need to point out something rather hypocritical that I commonly see in the community. A bunch of people complain when they celebrate a Russian event/holiday and don't celebrate some non Russian ones. but nobody bates an eye when US devs celebrate US events/holidays, and never feature non US things. At least Gijian celebrates a few non Russian things. Also just to clarify, I'm not saying Gijian is infallible, trust me they have plenty of greed problems, I'm just pointing this out.
