Dressing Up Combat Vehicles: Holiday Camouflages 2025

2025 is upon us, and that means it’s time for our traditional end-of-the-year video: holiday camouflages! War Thunder fully embraces the festive atmosphere of winter holidays, and with the tools for custom skins at your disposal, you can bring even more holiday spirit to intense battles by dressing your vehicles in beautiful, striking, or even quirky “outfits”.

The Holiday Crate for Golden Eagles!

We’re pleased to present you with a Holiday Crate, available in the in-game Item Shop! This crate can only be purchased with Golden Eagles, and inside it is a large set of useful items: Premium Account, Silver Lions, universal backups and boosters, premium vehicles and also all vehicles that have ever been sold for Golden Eagles or Warbonds that aren’t currently obtainable in-game or on the Market (full list below).

New Ground Map: Attica

In addition to anticipated vehicles, the Storm Warning update brings a new location for combined battles: the sunny Attica inspired by the sunlit landscapes of the south-east of Greece. Today we’d like to introduce you to this new location, show you around, demonstrate the main attack directions, and, of course, do a little bit of sightseeing. We’re sure these sights deserve to be seen!

The Soviet Union has always had inferior carrier-based aircraft compared to the West. While the United States used all the might of its aircraft carriers in World War 2 and Vietnam and the United Kingdom showcased theirs during the Falklands War, the Soviet Union was still busy rebuilding its fleet to fit its new doctrines.

Eurofighter Typhoon: Riding the Wind

The Storm Warning update brings the roar of jet turbines, and with them, several new high-rank aircraft! And a special role among them is reserved for a couple of multirole European fighters that look a lot like twins. Please welcome the multinational Eurofighter Typhoon, a fighter that made its maiden flight in 1994 and is still in production. In War Thunder, this plane is the new top for the aircraft tech trees of Germany, Italy, and Great Britain!
