The largest-scale aircraft battle of WWII - battle for supremacy in the skies of the Great Britain in which the Luftwaffe failed to break neither the air defense of the British Isles nor the spirit of the People. The courageous pilots of the Royal Air Force repulsed the Luftwaffe attacks and prevented the German command from achieving superiority.
In the United Kingdom, the Battle for Britain is commemorated on the 15th of September. We invite you to re-enact the events in our game this weekend and get rewards for winning.
How to get rewards
Take part in the "Battle of Britain" event, and get a trophy for every 5 victories with a German or a British aircraft.
Other terms
Trophies can only be earned in the special event [Air Domination] Britain (AB) and [Operation] Britain (RB and SB).
During the special you may only earn a maximum of 3 trophies for each of the two nations.
Battle activity should be at least 60%.
You can follow your progress by clicking on your nickname → Achievements → Battle of Britain.

Maybe it's even better, now the people come for the event, not for the prizes.
Besides that, a lot of people like to complain a lot, if something they want is locked by a "win x battles" task.
Little bit narked that one of the most significant turning points of the second world war didn't warrant something a little 'more' in terms of an event. I guess no russians involved so it doesnt count?

I got really hyped thinking this was Enduring Confrontation on the massive Channel map but NOPE. Why isn't RB EC a regular thing?! It is literally the most enjoyable aspect to this game and it only happens a handful of times a year, further more it's now become pretty much the only 'realistic' battle mode we can get now after all this mixed nation nonsense in RB. Soviets in Normandy & North Africa, the Japanese navy over Stalingrad... not my kind of realistic...
ah great, I love events like these. Gaijin, could you just keep events like these all the time? doesn't need to be different every time, just an gamemode that cycles trough these on a 3 day bases. so 3 days battle of britian, 3 days kursk, 3 days etc... I absolutely love these, and think thay should be a major paret of warthunder whn I take the F4U, I do not fly it to free europe, I fly it to participate in epic naval digfichts in the pacific... but these are rare, and include unimmersive planes
also, please stop treating air collisions like crashes that lock my crew, I got hit from behind on takeoff and hvae a locked crew for 6 min

Unbalanced ... Luftwaffe starts from the air, RAF from Ground, Unhistoricaly - You can play as Italian, Flight model of Spitfires is broken (or engine model) You cant simply cool down your engine even with 100% RADIATOR OPEN and 0% Throttle ... Well done ... again ... event for nothing ... Brits CANT WIN
