Tankers! The damage model of non-armoured and lightly-armoured vehicles (with up to 25mm thickness of hull armour) has been refined in update 1.65.1.181. These vehicles have in fact, quite weak resistance when being hit by powerful high-explosive shells, like shells that contain 700g of TNT. To calculate the destructions for such vehicles, new mechanics have been added to the game - “Hull Break”. It means that the vehicle will be out of action when hit by shells with the capacity above the threshold.
Among those that are in the game, on the kinetic impact, hits with penetration of the shell of 150mm calibre on any part of the hull or turret (inclusive of the breech). Or even hitting following penetration of few structural elements of shells of small calibre, upwards of 75mm and higher. For HE shells, impacts by 75-76mm HE shells to the hull or turret will be effective. For large calibre HE shells (122-152mm) hits to chassis components will be counted as fatal. .
For greater clarity, it is planned to add the damage representation on the hit camera that will demonstrate the process of taking damage to the hull with such hits in one of the next updates.

The rule "up to 25mm thickness of hull armour" is inconsistently applied. The T92 has 12mm of hull armor and isn't on the list while the top tier Gepard has 30mm of hull armor and is on the list.
They are bs'ing us
PanzerSquadFTW, Why would they bullshit you, I have seen so many times this hull break and I can confirm it is very real
The full list of vehicles affected are included, however if you believe some have been missed incorrectly and do not function under the above ruling, please submit a bug report.
i dont see why the object 907 is not in the list and tier 5 Gepard is ??? either you apply the patch on all the vehicles or you dont do it at all, looks like some half ass fix for me
Its about Spaa you moron, not about light tanks, learn to read instead of flaming
Jack_of_Trades, takes a lot of guts to insult a guy for making a point. even worse when you couldn't be more wrong. it's about Spaa? where does it say its only about Spaa? so M18s, nashorns, etc. are Spaa's? might want to take your own advice and brush up on your reading before name calling.
Great change but why no Object 906, M551 Sheridan, T-92 or Type 60?
t92 probably would be armoured enough to bounce rounds... ive bounced apds off it before
All answers (1)commander_dogy15, We are talking of HE on a 12,7mm for the T-92... If the HE detonates the angling doesn't matter
Cuz russian bias, americans need help, and new tanks have to be op so more people use them(they nerf later).
As a RB/SB player, i think the ''hull break'' mechanic is a fantastic addition to the game, eliminating much of our frustration with lightly armored vehicles. I dont know about AB.
Gentlemen I have greatly enjoyed this game but it is now getting crazy. If a person chooses to ram a tank they should lose a spawn. If in real life you where to ram a tank your pilot would die. There are many players that are not very good with tanks but due to the rule of ramming aircraft without any penalty they appear as great players. This should be fixed before you start losing players. I have considered leaving this game because of this problem. Please fix it.
are you talking about arcade?
All answers (10)Nomadic_Warrior, Yes Arcade. Anyone with a plane can crash into a tank. It takes no real skill.
Make suicide in a plane cost you full friendly fire costs. How fast that'd change when you lose 60-70k lions every game from it.
