ROCCAT and War Thunder at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2014

ROCCAT and Gaijin Entertainment are happy to invite all fans of gaming and competition to the special booth prepared for the biggest eSport event in Poland – Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2014. Unique amusements, competitions with great prizes and special guests, which you won’t find anywhere else, are waiting. IEM 2014 starts on Friday, March 14th at 12:00 and ends on Sunday, March 16th.
World eSport in Poland
Intel Extreme Masters is one of the most popular international eSport competition circuit around the world. Professional gamers will fight for individual and team titles, and for quite big prizes with pool of 1.5 million PLN. There are at least several competitive titles on the spot and they enjoy huge popularity with viewership of 5 million people watching previous edition. Accompanied by top pro teams and such eSport emotions, ROCCAT, manufacturer of premium-quality, competitive gaming peripherals, and Gaijin Entertainment, creators of War Thunder – free to play MMO game, which became one of the most recognizable II WW titles, will be pleased to give their fans the best event experience.

Fans can feel eSport rivalry emotions on 13 PC’s featured with the newest gaming peripherals from ROCCAT, which will be used for nine 1 vs 1 War Thunder tournaments (three each day). Every participant will be awarded with 500 Golden Eagles, premium in-game currency. Winners in each competition will receive ROCCAT gaming peripherals and limited T-34 and M4A2 Sherman Advanced Pack – access to the closed beta test of the Ground Forces, unique tank, 6 000 Golden Eagles and additional, unique emblems and titles. Moreover, during whole Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2014, War Thunder hostess will giveaway tons of special leaflet with promo code for free Golden Eagles. Besides standard tournaments, fans will be able to take part in numerous competitions and quizzes on War Thunder and ROCCAT with great prizes, for instance: gear from ROCCAT including mice, headsets, keyboards, mousepads and gadgets. Every day at 14:00 (2:00 p.m.) professional pilots from Higher Officer School of Air Force in Dęblin and Captain Witold Sokół, MiG-29 fighter pilot, will lead presentation of War Thunder with hints for effective flying, air movements and fighting technics. All questions about game, its futures and past, incoming expansions, etc. will be answered by Gaijin Entertainment reps.
To feature the most immersive gaming experience ROCCAT and Gaijin Entertainment prepared one of the fanciest gaming gear nowadays - Oculus Rift, which fully support War Thunder. Fans will fly into a new dimension of air fighting.
Those who feel better on the ground in heavy armored vehicles and tanks won’t be disappointed. For the first time in Europe gamers will be able to try out the newest expansion of War Thunder – Ground Forces at public event.. Planes fight change to tanks battles.
On Friday and Saturday at 15:00 (3:00 p.m.) ROCCAT crew will show off their latest gaming peripherals – mice, headsets, mousepads, keyboard used by professional players, such as Team ROCCAT. That Polish eSport team, which is doing great in LCS League of Legends, will also arrived at Intel Extreme Masters to meet with fans.
